About the Event
NENA’s Center Training Officer (CTO) Program is a 3-day, student-centered course that equips attendees to build and deliver effective, performance-focused training in a learn-by-doing environment. Through hands-on activities, participants apply adult learning concepts, use coaching models, mitigate liability, and strengthen the structure and integrity of their center’s training program. The course also covers creating and using performance categories, Daily Observation Reports, and weekly summaries to support consistent trainee evaluation and development.
Target Audience:
This course is designed for current and aspiring Center Training Officers, as well as supervisors, trainers, and other personnel responsible for managing or supporting a 9-1-1/PSAP call center training program.
TCOLE documentation will be made available to the Agency Training Coordinator or Administrator for outside course reporting. Note: Not all agencies have approved the course content for reporting, please check with your designated agency representative.
