About The Event

Learn about the scope, scale and nature of the problem, best practice policy, and protocols for telecommunications response. Review important NCIC record entry and data management considerations and resources for the communications center.

What's In It For You? 

Upon completion of this training, you will be able to:

  • Respond more effectively to endangered missing and abducted child incidents
  • Apply best practices and model policy components to improve your center and/or agency's readiness for an effective response to reports of missing and abducted children
  • Maintain missing person record information and improve procedures for record management and case data over the life of the case
  • Prepare for quick contact with/use of various operational and enforcement response resources available through state AMBER Alert Programs and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC)

TCOLE documentation will be made available to the Agency Training Coordinator or Administrator for outside course reporting.
