About The Event
The APCO Institute Communications Center Supervisor course is designed for prospective, new, or experienced communications supervisors who want to enhance their supervisory skills and knowledge. Class lecture is supplemented by practical exercises that help students apply the lessons to their own agency policies and procedures. Students not only learn supervisory topics, but also learn how to work together in groups and cooperate to attain common goals.

- Employee Evaluation and Motivation
Prerequisites: Must have completed a formal, basic instructor-led 40-hour telecommunicator course and CTO program (or have a working knowledge of APCO ANS 3.103.2.2015 and APCO ANS 3.104.2-2017). If not APCO certified, must provide a signed letter on agency letterhead stating the prerequisites have been met.
TCOLE documentation will be made available to the Agency Training Coordinator or Administrator for outside course reporting.
